With his variety of experiences in different professional design projects at NID he also worked as a teacher in design education with a deliverance and excellence in educating generations of design professionals who have their proven existence in design world today. His vision and dedication in design education hosted him as a chairman of faculty development program at NID. He is still active in his design academics with many prestigious design institutes in India.

Prof. Paresh Chatterjee concluded his graduation in Fine Arts with painting & Sculpture from world famous Shantiniketan (West Bengal) as a scholar. His hunger for further studies led him to National Institute Of Design where he concluded his studies in Specialization in Textiles Printing Weaving & Dying. He has proven himself in the field of Textile Industry at various Industries like Relience, Alfatex – Bangkok, Afprint Inc. A multinational Group in Lagos Nigeria, Head of the department at Arvind Mills Ahmedabad and Chief Designer at Raipur Mills, Senior Designer at DCM (Delhi Cloth Mill). His marathon professional expertise was recognized by Government of Orissa and he successfully concluded setting up the Design cell at State Institute for development of Arts & Crafts (SIDAC) Bhubneshwar – Orissa. His vast experience is at an advantage to the students of Unitedworld Institute Of Design. He also carries his teaching expertise to the national institute of design in Textile department.

Prof. Arvind Merchant is a Graduate of the premium design institute of India, National Institute Of Design (NID) Ahmedabad. He has extensive professional consultancy and design experience in the area of Product, Exhibition, Graphics, Visual Identity, Publication and Advertising, Craft Development and many more. His experience on design education in the area of Industrial design, Communication design, fashion & lifestyle accessory design and craft development are proven silver line in the field of education. His experience design to work Chennai Design Cell on behalf of NID during early 90s, led a mild stones towards the recognition of Design industry in southern India. His contribution to small skill and craft sector, academic institutions has been remarkable experience to benefit the students of design education. He was a member of core team for development of department of fashion and lifestyle accessory design in NIFT which hosted him with the chair of chairperson. He has been head of the department and Academic Director at the MIT Institute of design, Pune. He is an asset for Unitedworld Institute Of Design promising to nurse UID students for being better designs of tomorrow.
